Your executive dinner probably doesn’t need another planning call…
It needs five useful sentences.
Before you start building the seating chart, ask each host for the five guests they care most about and a note about each:
“Put Dave near Alex. Same buyer, different stage.”
“Keep Jordan close to Maya. He’s new to the group and she’ll pull him in.”
You can add a column, a text field called “Seat brief,” enable public editing, and share that guest list view with your host/co-host. Then, ask for five notes.
They type their notes, you get their judgment right where the seating decision happens, and everything’s connected and updating.
Then pull up the seating chart. That field can show up while you’re placing people, so every seat carries the reason behind it.
Your hosts already have this context in their heads. The editable field just makes it easy to capture it.
