What if your dinner guests and your LP meeting guests got different pre-event notes?
If you’ve got an event where guests select different sessions, they build their own agenda and get separate calendar invites. And in Gatsby, each session is a separate event with a separate guest list of people who opted in.
Most people use that for headcounts. You can use it to start the event early.
Instead of one long “know-before-you-go” that tries to land with everyone, message the dinner list about the conversation they can expect. Message the LP meeting list about who else is in the room.
One relevant detail per audience, sent leading up to the event. Guests walk in warm, already knowing why they’re there.
Most operators are scared to email guests more than once. Don’t be.
They’re showing up. Give them a reason to be excited about it.
